Brent & Shannon Potvin

Long before DogWatch became our business, we were DogWatch customers ourselves. As dog owners, we wanted a safe and dependable way to give our own pets the freedom to enjoy our entire property. We believed in the product enough that, when the opportunity came along, we became involved with DogWatch locally and eventually took over the Atlanta dealership.

More than two decades later, we still approach the business much the same way we did in the beginning: take care of the customer, do the job right, and stand behind what we sell. That philosophy has helped Atlanta DogWatch earn “Top Dog” recognition year after year and, more importantly, has allowed us to serve thousands of families and their pets throughout North Georgia.

Between us, we bring more than 50 years of operations and customer-service experience to the company, but we’ve never wanted Atlanta DogWatch to feel like a large, impersonal operation. We run the business ourselves, and are fortunate to have a great team representing us in our customers’ homes every day.

Over the years, we’ve also developed lasting relationships with veterinarians, trainers and other pet-care professionals throughout the area. Their continued confidence in Atlanta DogWatch means a great deal to us. After all these years, our goal hasn't changed: provide a great product, install it properly, train our customers well, and be there when they need us down the road.

Tessa is one of the friendly voices you’ll often hear when you call Atlanta DogWatch. As our Office Manager, she helps keep a busy operation running smoothly—assisting customers, coordinating schedules, and keeping our installation and service teams organized throughout the day.

She takes pride in making things easy for our customers, whether she’s helping schedule a new installation, arranging a service visit, or simply answering questions along the way. Tessa is also a dog owner herself and shares her home with Stella & Peeky, so she understands firsthand just how important our four-legged family members are to us.

Joel is one of the DogWatch team members you’ll see out in the field installing and servicing Hidden Fence systems for our customers. His work requires a combination of technical skill, problem solving, and attention to detail—and Joel takes pride in making sure the job is done right.

Whether he’s installing a new system, tracking down a difficult wire break, or solving an equipment or service issue, Joel brings a friendly and professional approach to the job. And when his workday is over, he has dogs of his own waiting for him at home — Finn & Tallulah — so he’s no stranger to life with four-legged family members either.

If you’re considering a DogWatch Hidden Fence, Ashley may be one of the first members of our team you meet. She visits customers at their homes, takes the time to understand their property and their pets, and helps determine the DogWatch system that best fits their needs.

Ashley also plays an important role after installation, working directly with new customers to show them how to properly introduce their dogs to the Hidden Fence and get everyone off to a successful start. A dog owner herself, Ashley shares her home with Sparta & Max, making her work with our customers and their pets a very natural fit.
